I wasn't looking for someone to complete me; I was already WHOLE... & stubbornly so.
But, when you walked into my life, you triggered something like an avalanche... All the misconceptions I held about what love after loss might be like were swiftly swept away.
I'm still the girl you stumbled upon two and a half years ago. I'm still independent as heck, more in love with my Creator than any guy I've ever met, & hell-bent on being my best self.
Yup, I'm still TOTALLY that girl. But, because of you... I'm BETTER.
CLEARER. Even MORE CONVINCED that God had a plan bigger than anything I could have ever dreamed as we make an IMPACT on this world BIGGER than the one I would have been able to make on my own.
Thank you for being my best friend, my confidant, my sweet husband, the father to my babies.... and, most of all, thank you for being MAN ENOUGH to love a woman who had already found the strength to rescue herself.
