These Three Things...
DETERMINED. COMMITTED. ACCOUNTABLE. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ These three things keep me going in my fitness routine. Even while pregnant!! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ No matter what kind of crazy chaos is ensuring behind the scenes.... fussy kids, a crazy busy season in our lives, the launch of a new clothing line, inconvenient timing... the bottom line is that I have committed to being the healthiest, strongest bravest ME possible!! And the circumstances around me determine whether or not I'm going to show up as my best version of myself today. I won't be the BEST me EVER every day. And there is no point in trying to be. But I will ALWAYS (morning sickness or not, motivatation to workout or NOT) try my best to do my best EACH DAY! So often, I DON'T feel like being the best me. So often, I would rather binge Netflix and scroll social media. But, I don't let my feelings determine my future. Just like with FAITH, I choose to believe that even on the worst of days, FAITH will take me further than feelings (like fear) ever will. And if we are honest, isn't that what numbing is? Watching hours and hours of tv, binging on gossip, or wandering the aisles of our favorite store over and over again? Aren't we just trying to fill the gaps so that we don't have to do the hard work or so we can tell ourselves we don't have time to? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Four years ago, I was going to the gym day after day for HOURS each day and never getting the results I wanted. I was sick and tired of putting my child in their expensive childcare with so many other kids, and I was sick and tired of throwing money at a monthly membership I barely used!
