Motivation Monday
On a health journey?? Hear me on this: WE ALL have funks. We ALL have days where we feel bloated or like we aren’t feeling the results. It's NORMAL to feel, at times, that you’ve lost or are losing motivation on your health journey. Motivation is NOT natural or something we have or don't have. Its something we CHOOSE. We ALL have days we don't want to do our workouts. So, what do you do on those days? Here are some tips: #1. Consider re-evaluating your WHY. WHY are you trying to stay healthy? And WHY do you care about that WHY? Dig deeper than “to look good.” #2. Figure out what you can do to mix it up and make you excited. Switch programs or classes (for me, that looks like picking one 600+ other workouts in my online library). #3. Listen to a playlist that pumps you up during your workout! A little Tay Swift can go a long way!! #4. Think about your workout in a different way! Sometimes I workout more of as a praise song of movement to my Creator thanking him for giving me an able healthy body. #5. Think of working out as a privilege. I know so many people who would give their right leg to be able to move like we can. Don’t throw your gift to waste. Okay, enough about what works for me, what about YOU??
